The Salt Flats Shoot

Still working on locations for a change of pace, my model, Ishtar and I decided to go to the salt flats in Rockingham to do our next shoot. We had planned to do a half day shooting at 2 locations. The first was the salt flats, I decided it would look great with a warm glow on it as the white salt residue should take on that tone.
I haven’t been there in almost 12 years and thought let’s give it a go. As usual we headed there early morning before the sunrise and got to the location about 10 minutes before first light. Once we found a spot the sun was beginning to come up and the golden hour glow was upon us. We shot there until the golden look turned white light and then we packed it in and went to our next location.
