Swan River Painting

During the lockdown of COVID, the Swan became my second home. Making trips there every 2-3 days I grew to like what I was seeing, Getting there early mornings, mid day or afternoon it always had a nice surprise for me. The Derbarl Yerrigan (Aboriginal name for Swan River) became my inspiration for creating these water paintings as I call them as they remind me of the paintings of Monet and Van Gogh without the bridges. The reflections they painted contained the objects along the river or lakes.
