Rough Waters

Throughout the month of July, Perth, Western Australia has seen some interesting climate changes.
In my twenty-five (25) years of living here I cannot recall a winter like the one we are having. One of my favorites things to photograph however, is the rough oceans as I use them in composites and sometimes I get a real treat where I can use them on their own such as these images are showing. While shooting the jetty (a favorite because of the way the waves crashes into it) I saw this fella wonder out to the end of the jetty and my immediate thought was he had a death wish because the wave were crashing the jetty and any one of them would have taken him off or bashed him up against the rails. He however, was having the time of his life. I later spoke to him and he was saying how exciting it was, well in my book exciting and dangerous do not mix well.
